The Wolverhampton Society of Artists opened their Bi Annual gallery exhibition on Saturday. The exhibition features work by some BWS members.
The Gallery in Litchfield Street Wolverhampton WV1 1DU tel 01902 552055 will be hosting this years exhibition from October 24th 2015 until 27th February 2016.
The exhibition was opened by the High Sherriff of West Midlands Johnnie Turpie, with awards for Curators Choice and Front House staff choice paintings being presented by the Mayor of Wolverhampton Mark Whitehouse.
The WSA recently held an exhibition at the Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery . At this exhibition the WSA presented a gift to Captain Pun of the Gurkha Regiment from the Nuneaton Barracks base.
The gift was framed photographs depicting villages in the aftermath of the dreadful earthquake there in Nepal earlier this year.
Attending the opening of this years gallery exhibition were a group of Gurkha Recruits sent by the Regiment as an introduction to Art. This was the first time most of them had visited an art gallery.
