Today marked the last day of another tremendously successful exhibition for the BWS, and without doubt judging by the number of visitors and their comments, and of course the number of paintings sold, it has been another success for the National Trust too.

Stewards today Valerie Alexander & Alan Reading reported a steady flow of just over 200 people showing Lots of interest with the society work, which indeed has been the norm for much of the exhibition.

We did manage one more sale on the last day , this was F109 ‘By the River by Jonathan Taylor, well done Jonathan.

F109 ‘By the River’ by Jonathan Taylor sold today.

The total sold now has reached 53, congratulations everyone.

The President & Committee wish to thank members of the hanging team for their dedicated work initially to get the show looking so professional, and to all members and their partners for their days of stewardship in the gallery during the exhibition.
